If you're struggling with an issue, whether it’s medical, psychological, psychiatric, social, financial or academic, our case managers will listen, help you brainstorm, problem solve, and ultimately connect you to the right resources.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
Provides confidential, psychological and psychiatric services free to all registered UCR students. Individual, couple and group counseling sessions are available. Addresses a wide range of issues including adjustment, relationships, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, identity development, stress and family concerns.
We're her for you virtually and continuing to provide our services remotely through phone and secure videoconferencing. For appointments, questions, consultations, call 951-827-5531, Option 2 to leave a message and we will get back to you within 30 minutes weekdays between 9 am and 4 pm.

UC Riverside Recreation
Offers fun fitness classes, state-of-the-art equipment and a wide variety of ways to get fit. UCR’s newly expanded Student Recreation Center (SRC) is bigger and better than ever — and it’s all yours! As a registered UCR student, you are automatically a member of this on-campus, 155,000-square-foot facility.

The Well
The well continues to provide health education and basic needs for students Monday-Friday during campus closure. For online resources, visit http://well.ucr.edu/ to participate in online events for well-being, or to join a peer group. Our in-person services include distribution bags of groceries and grocery store gift cards, and managing request for financial support through the Economic Crisis Response Team. Student Health & Wellness Services (SHWS) is committed to the well-being of all UC Riverside students.
Wellness is holistic and interdimensional. Finding balance in your cultural, emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual wellness positively impacts your overall well-being. If one of these nine dimensions is out of balance, though, it can affect other aspects of your wellness. The Wellness Wheel illustrates this relationship.

Wellness is the continuous practice or process of enhancing one's holistic well-being through intentional behaviors and choices. Your health and wellness drive your ability to learn, to make friends and to achieve your goals.
